ESSMANN aerodynamic smoke extraction

According to European guidelines, smoke and heat extraction systems (SHE) in skylight domes with a skylight base of at least 30 cm high must unlock an aerodynamically unrestricted opening. To achieve this, the skylight dome is opened to around 165° by means of an installation unit. SHEs can be installed in renovation skylight bases when renovating roofs or changing a building's use. They can also be installed in arcade rooflights; in this capacity, they can particularly be found in integrated flaps.

ESSMANN SHE systems type F6-D for skylight domes
are installed in ESSMANN skylight domes with a skylight base of at least 30 cm high. The SHE is activated automatically at a temperature of 70°C/90°C or manually on emergency release stations.

A CO2 tank is used as the standard means of activating the SHE equipment of a natural smoke extraction system (NSE). A steel or copper cable connects the SHE to the emergency release station.

ESSMANN 24V RWG für Lichtkuppeln (NRWG LK 24V 160)
Mit dem 24 Volt betriebenen natürlichem Rauch- und Wärmeabzugssystem (NRWG LK 24V 160) lassen sich alle ESSMANN Lichtkuppeln classic bis zu einer Nenngröße von 150/250 elektrisch Öffnen und Schließen.

Der 24V Öffnerbeschlag kombiniert den elektrischen Öffnungsmechanismus zur täglichen Be- und Entlüftung mit dem Rauchabzug - ohne zusätzlichen Lüftungsmotor. Das NRWG öffnet innerhalb von 60 Sekunden bis auf 160 Grad (variabler Lüftungshub bis 60 Grad).

Nach erfolgter Auslösung lässt sich die Lichtkuppel einfach und schnell schließen, kein manueller Schließvorgang mehr notwendig. Darüber hinaus reduzieren sich die jährlichen Wartungskosten durch den Wegfall des Austausches von CO2-Flaschen.

Entspricht den europäischen Richtlinien nach DIN EN 12101-2.

ESSMANN SHE for renovation skylight bases
ESSMANN renovation skylight bases have an installation height of 15 cm and are made of heat insulated plastic profiles. They are fitted on the existing skylight base; the new roof sheeting is raised up the side of the renovation skylight base and overlapped with the safety frame.

Smoke and heat extraction systems (SHE) are integrated in ESSMANN renovation skylight bases and directly attached to existing, intact skylight bases, including those manufactured by third parties. The SHE is activated automatically at a temperature of 70°C/90°C or manually on emergency release stations. A CO2 tank is used as the standard means of activating the SHE equipment of a natural smoke extraction system (NSE). A steel or copper cable connects the SHE to the emergency release station.

ESSMANN SHEs type F6 for arcade rooflights
consist of an aluminium frame with welded corners, into which a polycarbonate panel, which has the same thickness as the rest of the arcade rooflight, is inserted. The flap size is based on the grid size of 1.06 m and has a length of 1 m or 2 m. The maximum flap width is 2.5 m. The flap structure can be used to provide ventilation, to extract smoke or to do both at the same time.

ESSMANN SHE for darking flaps
ESSMANN darking flaps can be used in special cases, for example where there are increased heat insulation requirements (in cold storage facilities or similar) or in rooms where no daylight must be allowed to penetrate (in cinemas or similar). The SHE is activated automatically at a temperature of 70°C/90°C or manually on emergency release stations.
