ESSMANN® de-smoking roof ventilator with vertically-oriented, twist-free air outlet, suitable for removing smoke in the event of a fire. Tested and certified in accordance with DIN EN and approved by DIBT. The housing is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium and is fitted with a base frame for installation of a pedestal.
A large overhang means the pedestal can be insulated easily. Fitted with cover flaps that open and close automatically. When the ventilator is at a standstill, the flaps close automatically to prevent rain water from entering.
High-performance radial impeller with blades that curve backwards, made of welded sheet steel and coated if required by the customer. All parts that are subject to mechanical stress are made of galvanised sheet steel. The drive motor is completely separated from the extracted air flow and cooled by ambient air.
A heat insulating coating is applied to the motor housing section. Connecting cable brought out on front side and protected by a metal pipe. ESSMANNî de-smoking roof ventilators can also be used in conjunction with de-smoking ducts in accordance with DIN 18232-6.
