HDS protection for ESSMANN skylight domes

Equipment that has been used as standard with arcade rooflights for quite some time can now also be utilised with ESSMANN skylight domes type 810.

Some time ago, ESSMANN, a company that is well established in the market, developed an HDS protection system for arcade rooflights, which provides hard roofing, fall-through protection and sun protection, amongst other features. Now, this system is also available for ESSMANN skylight domes type 810.

The main benefits of this system are the fall-through protection, additional hail protection, intruder resistance and protection against vandalism it offers. As you would expect of Essmann, appropriate tests have been carried out. The fall-through protection has been tested by the German building trade association in line with its principle testing requirements GS-Bau-01, DIN 4426-1 and has been approved accordingly.

Nowadays it is becoming increasingly important to protect equipment on roofs from vandalism. A skylight dome fitted with HDS protection is ideally suited to preventing vandalism.

Not only can HDS protection be integrated into new skylight domes prior to delivery, but it can also be retrofitted into skylight domes type 810 that are already installed. ESSMANN fitters carry out the installation of HDS protection.
