FAS - Fall arrest safety console for skylight bases

Protection and safety systems for people working on roofs are becoming more and more important, which is why ESSMANN is continuing to invest in their development.
Equipment that is already used as standard with ESSMANN arcade rooflights can now also be utilised with ESSMANN skylight domes with PVC or GRP bases.
The new fall arrest safety console can be used as an individual anchor point on ESSMANN skylight dome systems to protect people from falling and to restrain them.

The fall arrest safety console is mounted onto the skylight base in such a way that all standard ESSMANN connection systems, such as the safety frame, can be installed as well. The console does not hinder the sealing work that needs to be carried out.The console is made of high-quality stainless steel and can be used as an anchor point for people performing installation and maintenance work on the roof. It serves as a fall prevention and/or restraining system, depending on the distance that a person could fall. The fall arrest safety console complies with class A requirements as a fall arrest safety system according to DIN EN 795 and DIN EN 362 EC type examination certificate, and is certified by the German trade association.
