Bau 2007 a huge success

The BAU 2007 building fair achieved a record number of visitors. Over the six days of the fair, more than 209,000 trade visitors came to Munich for the world's largest specialist fair for construction materials in order to learn more about the products and services offered by 2046 exhibitors from 44 countries ‚¬ For the first time, ESSMANN joined forces with STG-BEIKIRCH and ECODIS to present what the ESSMANN GROUP has to offer over a total floor area of 150 m². Numerous exhibits clearly demonstrated the huge range of expertise provided by this network of specialists for all issues relating to light, air and safety on flat roofs and facades.

A great many trade visitors, especially those from abroad, took the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in lighting, aeration and ventilation, smoke and heat extraction, and drainage. Innovative drives, such as the LM EasyDrive chain drive, were also demonstrated. This year's BAU also saw the introduction of a new innovation - the combination of a saddle rooflight and a photovoltaic element - that sparked a lot of interest amongst visitors. After this successful week, which generated more than 700 contacts, saw more than 1200 visitors come to our stand, and also enabled us to reach our main target groups, one thing is very clear: ESSMANN GROUP will definitely take part in BAU 2009.
