ESSMANN pyramid-shaped arcade rooflights type 980 are a decorative and eye-catching design feature and meet high architectural standards. The intricate supporting structure and details of the pyramid attract people's attention and channel daylight into internal rooms. Pyramid-shaped arcade rooflights are often used as design features in exhibition halls, shopping arcades, foyers, stairwells and office and industrial buildings. The ESSMANN pyramid-shaped arcade rooflight system is manufactured with a gradient of 30° and 45° as standard (other gradients are available on request) and can range in span width from 1.5 m to 5 m.
Polygonal pyramids (from 6 to 16-sided) can be custom-made to client specifications in addition to the standard 4-sided pyramid and the profile system can be coated in any RAL colour. Up to a span width of 2 m, the pyramid system is fully pre-assembled at the factory and is installed in the same way as our skylight dome system. If the pyramid-shaped arcade rooflight is also to be used for ventilation, one side of the entire pyramid structure (up to a span width of 2 m) is lifted up using a tandem system. Ventilation flaps are installed in pyramid systems with span widths longer than 2 m, similar to saddle rooflights. A 1 m flap can be installed on each side of the pyramid and used for daily ventilation. Several different types of glazing are available for use as the panel material.
The ESSMANN pyramid-shaped arcade rooflight system can be mounted both on upstands provided by the customer and on ESSMANN's base system. |
