ESSMANN® large-surface ventilators are designed for daily aeration and ventilation. The whole available ventilation cross-section can be fully utilised, even when it is raining, thanks to two regulating flaps positioned on the longitudinal sides of the ventilator. The special arrangement of the regulating flaps causes the air to be deflected, so the ventilator provides its own soundproofing to a large extent.
This soundproofing effect can be improved by integrating additional sound traps. An aluminium cover shaped like a saddleback roof forms the top part of the device. The pre-defined slope ensures that rain water is drained off easily. The extremely stable structure of the device is made of corrosion-resistant, canted and welded aluminium (AlMg, F23). All parts (screws, springs, etc.) are rust-proof. The regulating flaps have double bearings in maintenance-free nylon bushes.
The ESSMANN large-surface ventilator is fitted with a pneumatic cylinder for opening and closing the regulating flaps.
